Debbie Kneen

With some 18 years of experience in the construction industry as a consultant and a contractor, steering Debbie to becoming a Finalist for Midlands Business Person of the Year, NatWest Everywoman of the year and Woman in Construction Business Leader of the year.

Debbie has built up a strong reputation for managing the detail behind a successful industry specialist.

In 2001 Debbie established a successful ICP with her brother, Simon Phipps. She was instrumental in enabling the company to move from being a consultant to a fully accredited contracting business by establishing systems, processes and procedures that allowed accreditations to be acquired to become NERS and GIRS compliant in design, installation and project management.

In 2012 Debbie took over as Managing Director with day to day control of the commercial and operational side of the business. Thus, ensuring a platform of growth for the business and established the company as a market leader within the UK residential and commercial connections market.

In 2016 as CEO, Debbie co-founded an Independent Distribution Network Operator with Simon and took the lead on delivering the Ofgem licence and all the requisite systems and procedures to enable the business to operate within this highly regulated market.
